Revive Life proudly opened its doors to the community with a ribbon-cutting ceremony and warm gathering of supporters, marking the beginning of our mission to provide compassionate, personalized care for those facing addiction, mental health challenges, and dual diagnoses.
The event was graced by Gaithersburg Mayor Jud Ashman, who honored our vision and commitment to the community by proclaiming August 7 as “Revive Life Day” in Gaithersburg. Speaking from the heart, Mayor Ashman reminded attendees that nearly everyone has been touched by addiction or mental health issues in some way, himself included. He expressed deep gratitude for organizations like ours that stand ready to offer hope, healing, and resources to those in need.
Our founders, Bhanu Subramaniam, Vikas Dhall, and Radhika Nataraj, shared the deeply personal journey that led to Revive Life’s creation.
“This began as a conversation around a dinner table, but quickly became a vision to fill a critical gap in care,” said Bhanu Subramaniam. “The need for continuous, intensive programs to address substance use and mental health is greater than ever. Revive Life was created to meet that need.”
Co-founder Radhika Nataraj emphasized that mental health care should be treated as a necessity, not a privilege:
“Behind every statistic is a real person, a spouse, parent, sibling, or friend. Our hope is to break the silence, confront stigma, and restore the worth, strength, and joy that life’s struggles may have taken away.”

For Vikas Dhall, the day marked the fulfillment of a dream:“This country has embraced us, and Revive Life is our way of giving back. We aim to be a women-driven organization that empowers our team and our community.”
Revive Life offers Partial Hospitalization Programs (PHP), Intensive Outpatient Programs (IOP), and one-on-one outpatient therapy, serving individuals at different stages of recovery. Our programs are designed to provide structured, intensive care while supporting clients in rebuilding their independence, emotional well-being, and sense of community.
We were honored to receive recognition from U.S. Senator Chris Van Hollen, Montgomery County Executive Mark Elrich, and Montgomery County Councilmember Laurie-Anne Sayles, alongside heartfelt congratulations from community leaders and partners.
